Honey is "manufactured" the same way it always has been (for thousands of years) and that is: by honey bees in the very efficient beehive and is a pure and natural product. Honey bees collect blossom nectar to create the honey.

The color and flavor of honey varieties differ depending on where the bees collect the nectar (which flowers or blossoms they visit). The floral source "Orange Blossom" is generally a lighter amber colored honey with a mild distinctive flavor and a flowery perfume aroma like that of orange blossoms; while Saw Palmetto tends to be a little darker with a more robust flavor which is described differently by different people (from spicy cinnamon/anise to molasses/prune flavor). I guess you will have to be the judge. |

*Black Mangrove Honey Flavor varies from one Black Mangrove honey harvest to the next. While we make every effort to limit collection of honey from hives which had honey supers placed on at onset of mangrove blossom and honey supers removed when mangrove stops blooming the availability of mangrove blossoms can vary simply due to how well the mangrove are producing blooms and nectar (even rain and winds). It is difficult to keep the bees limited to only mangrove when other plants (i.e., Buttonwood) happen to bloom at same time and location when Black Mangrove nectar flow is not as strong as usual. So you may notice a difference in flavor and finish due to mother nature’s mixing and the Black Mangrove may not be as expected based on previous harvests.
